How do I setup the number to call when I answer? 

On the Settings page, you can setup the phone you want to answer any incoming calls with. This can be either a SIP or PSTN (normal phone!) number. It's best to use SIP to answer the call if this is available to you, as you will save on call costs. 


A SIP number typically looks like a cross between a phone number and an email address; the convention is to use the numeric extension and then the SIP domain. eg 2634501@sip.expat-voip.com


A Phone number looks like... a phone number.  It should be formatted to include your international country code and have no spaces. So if your UK number is 020 3137 3535 you would enter this as +442031373535

How to set the number

  1. Choose the option you want from the dropdown (SIP or Phone Number) 
  2. Enter the correct details as detailed above examples of SIP and Phone Number are shown below.
